About me

Hi there!

My name is Elena Storle.

I am an engineer with an MBA which means I know what it is like to be in debt.

After completing my engineering degree, I had nearly $30,000 in student debt along with a $5,000 vehicle loan. I desperately wanted to pay this off as quickly as possible. I lived pretty frugally for the next year to meet this goal. When all this debt was paid off, I overcompensated by going to the other end of the spectrum, spending most of my paycheque with little going into savings. Personal finance had always been a passion of mine so I decided to really dig deep and apply those principles to my life. I customized what I had learned to make a plan that suited me best and I was able to buy a condo at 26 and travel to 13 countries.

Through conversations with friends and family, I’ve learned that people know what they want their money to be doing but aren’t sure how to do it. Personal finance is a skillset that has to be actively pursued as it isn’t taught in school and there’s no one size fits all plan. My approach as a money coach is to have the personal finance journey be dynamic to your current needs and to provide you with the flexibility to change your plan as your priorities shift. Let’s face it, what works now will likely not work for you in a year, least of all 5. Your personal finances need to grow with you.

Are you ready to get started?
